I'm a future breeder and I know for a fact I will NOT send my pups to just ANYONE. IMO if a breeder is willing to ship a pup, it's all about money, most breeders I have seen who is willing to ship a pup charges a arm and a leg for there pups and if the new owner can pay that sort of price for a pup, then they can pay for a plane ticket to go pick up the pup!
I'm sorry this has happened to you and I sure hope you go and meet your next breeder, If I were you I would even plan play dates with your new baby.
I hope you take legal action on this breeder, she really needs stopped! |
Not all breeders who ship are unprofessional..that is a blanket statement and is simply not true. you say and I quote "most breeders I have seen who is (are) willing to ship a pup charges (charge) a (an) arm and a leg for there (their) pups and if the new owner can pay that sort of price for a pup, then they can pay for a plane ticket to go pick up the pup! I don't think it's fair to judge people who choose to have thier pups shipped to them rather than fly to pick up the pup themselves. I have had two puppies shipped to me in fine condition by very professional breeders. Thank you and good luck with your breeding program.
