 I accidently trained my dogs...
that "bye bye" means mum's leaving now. (Cos that's what I say when I leave every morning). So every time my furbabies are doing something bad or running away from me I run away from them as fast as I can and call out "bye bye" in the most excited voice I can muster - whatever they are doing!
Running towards them makes it a game - and you can totally see it in their little eyes that it's the world's best game to run away from mummy. The idea is to make yourself the most exciting thing in the world - the place where your yorkie wants to be.
But Dougal's a heap better now that he's older (and neutered) and Little Wee always sticks close. But you gotta love that adventurous spirit of the yorkie that make them think they can take on the world. |
