If she is confined to the laundry area, is it necessary to keep her penned in the crate. Ollie cried so much off and on that after the first week, I took the door off the crate. She liked that better. She still protests when I put her in the laundry room, but only for a few minutes.

I have have food and pee pads in there for them.

During the day they are confined to the kitchen.
