Try to think like a Yorkie for a minute...what makes more sense to you?
A..Mom is outside, she left me alone..I see her from the window..I am so anxious and excited..oops! I just peed on the couch.
OR
B..I am sick and tired of mom going outside without me, so I will teach her a lesson and pee on the couch, that will really piss her off.
To me this is an easy one to solve..you know the problem, pick him up and take him with you or put him in a pen...
My Emee was pooping on the throw rug by the back door every morning...SO I put a weewee pad there and now she goes on it..but my husband forgets to look before he comes inside...who is going to win?..Emee, of course and at some point my husband will accept this fact and look before walking inside..I have done it for years and I never step in poop. It is just a matter of training. |
