We were married on a beach in Hawaii and it was just me and him no bridesmaids. My sister and her boyfriend were there but the whole thing was very informal, I loved it.
My friend got married last Dec. and had the bridesmaids dressed in black. It was at night. I thought it was gorgeous with the men in their black tuxs and the gals in their black dresses. I was the maid of honor and my dress had a soft pink section across the bust as well as pink embroidered flowers at bottom. The three bridesmaids' dresses were solid black. Instead of rice she wanted to do sparklers since it was at night but her mom said no and for some reason she listened. Instead she had that fake snow you get at Christmas it was really pretty too. I know you didn't ask about the last part but I thought I'd throw it in as a bonus.
