My heart goes out to the families who have been victims of brutal animal attacks. I do respect the opinion of others who feel that the only way they can get over an attack is the "eye for an eye" method. I don't agree at all with it, but I do understand it. But please.....do not blame the breed. Do not pass a law that will kill a member of my family.

Please note, even in Miami-Dade's ban on pit bulls, they do grandfather in existing pit bulls in homes and are already registered with the county as it is required according to law. (a good reminder to everyone, to register your dogs if your county requires it.) so no one come and take bubbles away to be put down if bubbles has been registered and has not commited any vicious acts.
And i don't necessarily think victims of brutal animal attacks are trying to get "an eye for an eye". I mean, if you bought a baby stroller and it collapsed for a reason you can't explain and your baby was seriously hurt from the drop, would you continue to recommend the stroller? when you walk through the stroller section, wouldn't you recommend against it? wouldn't you want it taken off the market? it's not because of an eye for an eye, but it's because you don't want another parent to go through the heartache of having a child hurt by this stroller 'cause you know first hand that it sux.
