I have a question for anyone and everyone. Is Izzie too small for her rabie shot? She is 12 weeks old today (4/26) and weighs 1 lb 4 ozs. I was wanting to wait until she was at least 2 lbs or 6 months. I talked with the Vet today and he called the maker of the vaccine. They told him that it didn't matter what size they are because it's made for "species" not breed or size. All sizes get the same amount of vaccine. I'm just so afraid she's too little. My Vet said he wouldn't advise taking Izzie to the meet-up without her rabie shot, he would leave her at home. I wanted everyone to see her, but I'm not taking any risks with her. Please tell me what you all think. Is she too small and young like I think?
