I read this whole thread and have seen breeders who DO retire their loved dogs ...
Pat is right - you would have to have limitless funds to keep every single dog that is involved in a breeding program. I found the breeders who I personally know feel a huge loss when they rehome...and txshopper is right too - that's why some can breed and some cannot - I'm just glad for those
good breeders out there.
