Also remember while he is pottying (when you do catch him) say good boy...that's right go potty. I do that to Lex all the time. After a week of doing it... once I say Lex you wanna go potty he runs by the door and waits for me to grab his leash.
It sure does take some patience. Thankfully these little guys do seem very smart.
