I wasn't scared about the first litter as I was raised on a farm. What I was concerned about was the timing, not sure exactly when the big event would take place. Reggie would love to sit on my lap while I was on the computer. That day, her belly altered her balance so she just sat on the floor beside me. I was typing away and all of a sudden felt something warms on my foot. When I looked down, she had given birth to her first baby, right there. It was a little girl weighing 6.5 oz. I rushed her to the box and shortly thereafter, a 5 ounce boy appeared, and then a 6 ounce girl. I thought they were pretty big babies, but Reggie weighed 8 pounds and Tucker was 11 pounds. Our first born became known as Sassy, and her name sure fits her personality. She grew to 5.5 pounds. The boy was named Sampson. What a mistake that was, he just kept growing to fit his name, like his daddy, all the way to 10 pounds but looks like his mother. The last born was SugarPlum. She was so darn cute with an adorable round face. She ended up at 6.5 pounds, a good solid but really short body and pretty as can be. Sassy still lives with us. Both Sampson and SugarPlum, now named DeeO'Gee, live here in town and I get to see both of them every now and then.
