I always have a rule of using common sense.. If you feel (by heart) that you are giving her too much just lower it a little. Also before trying to put the medicine in her mouth show her a treat, put her in your lap facing you and grab her chins hair just a little hard she will not like it at first but she will stay still for the 2 seconds your are going to give her the medicine (my vet told me this trick, believe me you wont hurt her, they are stronger than they want us to know!!!) try to go as deep as she will let you but only on the side of her mouth and VOILA!!! done. I do it all the time with Violets vitamins (they are oily). |
