My Cali is small (2.2 lb) but has some major ears (shhh, she may hear us talking about her from A MILE AWAY!). One ear started to stand up at 10 wks and she looked so cute, but after a while, it just looked like one was broken. I taped the other (not both together) with basic masking tape. As with JeanieK, it only took 3 days, but during that time the other fell. So, I taped the other one, and after 3 days, it stood up as well. A week later, one of them fell again and we did the tape a second time for only 2 days.
As you can see, at 14 weeks, a good breeze could send her flying - now if we could just get the puppy coat to yield to a brush...
If you decide to tape again, do not worry - once it is on, they don't even notice it. |
