You already have several strikes against you:
1) female under 5 pounds
2) larger male
3) age of female
4) collapsed trachea
It is possible to terminate a new pregnancy; however, it is also possible that all will be fine. If you do decide to continue with the pregnancy keep in close contact with a vet and have the money saved for a C-section and read every article you can find about caring for pregnant Moms, pregnancy and whelping.
When people are advising termination it's just that they love their dogs (and yours too) and know you are taking a risk of losing the Mom. |
