I was in an accident last fall...a very old gentleman (who shouldn't have been driving!) pulled out in front of me and because I couldn't stop in time there was some minor damage to my van, and to me!
My van was fixed by my insurance company and I received the medical care I needed (free, I'm in Canada), BUT...I received a cheque from my insurance company for home care and child care assistance while I was recovering from my injuries.
Guess what I used the cheque for?? I got my little yorkie Topher. The cheque paid for everything...him, his travelling cost, and his first vet appointment...to the penny!! Talk about fate!
