Cake Thank you

Thank you for your congrats! I am a worry wort, always have been over my fur babies! I try and not bug Joye to death by poking my nose in the whelping area all the time. I weigh the babies twice a day to be sure of weight gain. I feed Joye three times a day and take her temp. twice a day.
The weights range from 3 oz to 5 oz at this time. All have fat bellies. Mom looks great, teats look fine, the whelping area is 84 degrees. Mom pants at this temp but has a cooler area to escape to if needed.

I have even fed her by hand, as she lay nursing because she is so diligent she will not leave them except to run out and potty and run back in!

I also own the sire and have one other teenage female. They are kept away and seem fine with what is going on behind the nursery door.

My little Willow (5 months) is full of delightful Yorkie spirit and makes Mom nerves. I keep Willow out of harms way, as I think Joye would give her a good nip if she got too close. Giz already knows not to get too close, just by instint I think.

Please send all ideas and what is best to feed her in the way of calcium naturaly. Cottage cheese, yogart, goats milk?
Thanks to everyone in advance!
