Sneri...is this your oldest that is a Sr? Congratulations on him choosing a school! Are you excited?? I was so sad when my oldest went off to college, but now that it is time for the 2nd one to go...well lets just say Love him to death, but it is time to go!! Does your son have "senioritis" yet? Mine does big time! Of course, I think he has had it since 2nd grade ! I remember when he had just started 1st grade. He came home one day and I was asking him about his day and he said "Mom, I'll go ahead and finish this year, but don't sign me up for next!!" 1ST GRADE....thought to myself...oh it is going to be a long 12 years and IT HAS but yipee...5 more weeks!!
Actually, that is one of my favorite stories to tell of cute things they said growing up!! We always told them regarding sports that it was their decision if they wanted to play or not, but once they committed to play and we signed them up, they could not quit, so I guess he thought that rule applied to school also!! He was comitted to 1st grade, but just don't sign him up for 2nd!!

Congrats to both of ya for getting their butts through school. BM, your story reminds me of my neighbor's kid....she signed him up for pre-school...on the second day, he informed her...he'd learn ALL he NEEDED to know and didn't have to go back
