My rexi who is 2 years old was limping for 4 days so I took him to the vet and after x-rays was referred to an Orthopedic surgeon. The Surgeon at UC Davis told me today he has level 4 Patella Luxation and should have surgery immediately. Rexi walks normal and doesn't seem to be in pain. He can even run but has never jumped up in his life. He can go up and down stairs with no problem. Should I make him go through such invasive surgery? Any experiences?
