The weight shouldn't be a problem. Our cat
weighs 13 lbs (He's a big kitty), and he loves his cat shelf. Hmmmmm, I never thought of moving it where Ginger could get to it!
I'm thinking the cat wouldn't be very happy with me, it's his respite away from the dogs!
