Okay, that's dual sided...but, I really do prefer males in this breed over females. Although they both have their strong points, I just like them boys!
My Nemo is the BEST dog I've ever owned or trained. We compete (used to, he's really not mine, he belongs to my mother and father back in Illinois) in AKC Obedience and he's CONSISTENTLY getting scores in the high 190's. His best score was 198.5 and almost got him High in Trial. I only lived in Illinois long enough after we bought Nemo to get him to his CDX, but he easily would've gone all the way to an OTCH had he been my dog. He's got a great work ethic, LOADS of drive and is THE MOST CONFIDENT dog- period!- that I've ever met. He got each leg on the first try, how often do you see that, let alone in a Yorkie???

I dunno, there's just something to say about the breed and then there's something to say about Nemo. I would say that he is a rarity in the breed in any case. I've met a lot of male Yorkies out there that really don't hold a candle to Nemo in the way of temperment. In fact I've met MORE females that did than males. Interesting. In either case, I'm ESTATIC to be getting my new little girl from Budapest, Hungary soon. And I don't even like girls, typically! Not even in cats! Males, all the way around, from ferrets;dogs;cats;birds-heck, even most of my FISH we're males! LOL
Oh, and my first dog was a Female Beagle/Chihuahua -X- named Bandit.
Go figure.
