All my life, I have only had girl dogs, in fact even my mother and her family only had female dogs, so it has been a family thing to own female dogs. Right now there are three females and one male. I not quite sure why other than the fact that males can have some bad habits such as marking and etc.. However, this year I bought a male yorkie, the first male dog in my entire family! I have always heard how great males can be so I decided to give it a try. My conclusion... they are both equally great. I have noticed that males however tend to be more loyal and attached. Mine is what you would say a mommas boy and loves to cuddle while my female yorkie is not really attached to anyone, she just likes everyone. She is a bit of a bully to the male though. On the other hand, I love to dress up my female and make her look so girlie. I do put cute bows in my male's hair, everyone hates it, they say he's a male he is not suppose to have bows. I think well hey the boys bows are blue for a boy and besides how else are you going to see that adorable face? So I guess I like both males and females, I will probably will always have more females than males, (although always atleast one male), just because that is the way I am use to it.
