There are people who only want males as well but majority are looking for little girls. And it's not a breeding thing to.....yorkies tend to be a breed women want. Girls want to tote them around and doll them up. It's completely subjective and it is JMHO.

In my HONEST opinion, I don't think it's wrong to price females higher than males. Think about it...it's called supply and demand. Yes, reputable breeders LOVE their furbabies, but they are not
just doing it to better the breed. They are also doing it as a business, and when you're in business you want to make money, not lose it. People may disagree with me, and that's fine. But I'm NOT a breeder, and I think it's perfectly fine to make females higher in price. If you REALLY want a female, you will pay it. If you don't want to pay higher, go somewhere else or get a male.
