Gucci used to bite and bark at the brush. The Slicker Wire Brush she didnt like. Im using now a pin brush, she likes that one. It took me a while but every day gets better. She still doesnt like it too much to be brush on her face. I place her on top of the table and hold her by the collar(witout pulling of course) and she stay stills. To brush her face hair or clean her eye boogies I hold without pulling her mustache. So far it has work fine. Yes keep trying and your baby will get used to it. Im still working on cutting her nails, she still doesnt like that one.
