My puppy jumped out of my daughters hand and seems to have hurt his back leg. He cried for a few minutes but then stopped. My vets office is closed. They told me to let him rest the leg and come in tomorrow morning early. I have palpated the leg and it doesn't seem to be broken. I think it might be a sprain. He has been confined in his pen now and is sleeping. He isn't putting pressure on the leg but has stopped crying. Should I try to find an emergency vet or just wait as my own vet has suggested?
