My "trick" with Tia is, I put her on the couch then get on my knees and groom her that way. For some reason, in that position she tolerates it much better than if she is in my lap. She also does well on the kitchen counter. She doesn't love being groomed (especially hates the spray) but every time seems to get better and better. Today she let me do her face really well with a minimal of squirming. I'm hoping that she'll eventually just learn to accept that she's getting groomed every day.
Sandy is fine about it until I go to put something in her hair - then she is not a happy girl!
