I've looked for breeders, no one has anything...at least not a female pup that's not show quality and therefore they're all out of our price ranges.
(We have a rainey day savings account, but I refuse to dip into that just to buy a pet.) Even the BYB's only have males and want an arm and a leg for them. These dogs need homes too, it's not their fault some moron bred their parents and then sold them off to a pet shop. If I don't buy them, who will? A BYB that will breed them until they drop? If I can make their lives better, than maybe I should.
(And dear God, the first person that says the word "rescue" can kiss my beagle's butt! I've had two bad experiences and would rather give these greedy jerks running the puppy stores my money than the jerks that run the rescues, whom are just as greedy, just in different ways.)
I'm only asking because it mentioned "dirty dogs" in the Yorkie book at home and said they would most likely be that way for the rest of their lives...
