 Oh dear, I've been snubbed!
I've been job hunting and if yesterday was anything to go by, I'm in for it with my Susan! She's used to me being home all the time or taking her with me almost everywhere I go. But Monday I had interviews. And yesterday I interviews. Then yesterday evening instead of spending the evening sitting on my lap on the sofa like she usually does, she kept going off by herself. I found her one time curled up on the shirt I'd taken off earlier, but she wouldn't have anything to do with me myself. I think she was snubbing me. I figure she'll do a lot more of the same when I start working full time. If things go the way I hope they will she'll only have two or three days a week at home alone and they won't be really long days, sometimes as short as 4 to 5 hours. So she could be one fortunate little dog. But try telling her that! Especially when she's had Mommy 24/7 as long as she can remember! Do you think she'll go into a funk and if so, what should I do about it? |
