I am so very sorry for your loss. I know it hurts. I am sending hugs your way. It is highly probable that MaeMae is taking her cue from you. Dogs are highly receptive to body language, and it is very possible that MaeMae is picking up from you that she is supposed to be all upset..... i.e. extra spoiling, treats, hugs, etc.

MaeMae needs some time to grieve in her own doggie way and then she needs to be allowed to move forward. I would treat her like normal -- and I would definately talk with the vet about how to handle the feeding, health care, etc. of a female who has lost her little ones.
