I did leave the puppies with her after they passed so she will know..... she knew something was wrong cause she kept flipping them and shaking them in her mouth..... I gave her a moment but I was afraid if I left them it will make it worse. So she was crying for them for an hour..... I decided to take her outside the house and go to the park.... which she loves. We went out.... walked around... she greeted people and we went to the park. I have a huge park around my house and nobody is there.... we ran together... I took her off her lead and she was right behind me on every turn. She usually stays close but will like to explore... today she stayed right on my heel and would not leave me. She looked like she was having fun...... I don't know.... she seemed like for a moment she was happy. I stayed out with her for a few hours.......
Now we are home and she isn't looking for the babies... but I can't leave her anywhere for she will cry and whine (not like her). I can't even clean and do the laundry cause she just wants to sit on my lap. She will follow me and cry and claw at my legs to pick her up. She won't sleep on her own.....So that's what she is doing now..... sitting on my lap and sleeping..... she has not slept well either for the last few days so I know she is tired. MaeMae is a BIG sleeper.... she never wants to wake up on any other given day. She is my perfect companion.
Thank you all! There's not that many people I can talk to about this besides my mentor who would understand. Even my hubby, bless his heart, is very sweet but I know he just can't relate and feels bad when am this emotional. Thank you all for letting me have an outlet. This is a great forum. |
