From my experience they do get cold. I live in Florida and when the temperature goes below 72 degrees they are shivering like crazy when I take them out. I would wrap them in a fleece blanky and they wouldcalm down after 10 min or so. Now I just put a sweater or hoodie on them if it is in th e 60's . Cookie didn't like to even touch the wet grass! Now both my yorkies play in the yard 100% supervised.They do their business if we are outside for a while but they are pad trained indoors. It rains too much where I live from now until June. I dont even want to get into the Hurricane season! ugh
