I justed wanted to add that there is no such thing as an "immediate eviction". There are legal processes and procedures that must be followed with notices , etc. In Claifornia, if the property management discovered the dog, they would serve you with a 3 day notice to comply with the terms of the agreement and remove the dog from the premises. If you failed to do that they would file an Unlawful Detainer action against you and set a hearing date no sooner than 20 day. Once the hearing is over you have an additional 5 days to move so you would always have at least 28 days before you would have to move if they caught you with the dog.
