After realizing pad-training will not take off, I got Spookie to go potty outside. She is being taken out every 4 hours and did not have a single accident for 2 months.
A couple of days ago, while the door outside was open for her to come in and out, she climbed into bed, where she sleeps with us and peed her heart out. Of course she got punished the same way she was for accidents months before. Maybe she wanted to "claim" us or see her "limits". I am not sure.
A few hours ago after waking up and running like crazy around the place, she had another accident. This was more like an accident, because she woke up and ran around. She still got punished because on other occasions with same circumstances she would not lose it like that. So, now I am wondering what is up with the little one.
I also have a theory that I am not spending time training her new tricks as often as I did even a month ago and maybe she just needs more of that stimulatory bonding? I am open to suggestions. BTW, she turns 7 months next week.
