They go in those cages with the grating at the bottom. My dog goes a lot more than twice a day. She's supposed to go on her pads but will go outside when we go for walks. The walks are more for fun and exercise than anything else.

The Spot Bot was recommended to me by a friend who has two Jack Russells so I bought one and it does a pretty good job. I use the hand held hose instead of the automatic mode. Maybe you could keep Muffin in an uncarpeted area like the kitchen until she is more trustworthy. It sounds like she has a much better life with you and hopefully will catch on to life as a pet.
Yes, you are right. She was just one of this old lady's breeding machine, so when she was given to me, I started to love her and show her a different life other than breeding litters. A family life, where she is given so much love and attention and she reciprocates that love. I kept asking this guy at work because I got Muffin through him. He said Muffin lived in the house during winter but stay in the kennel outside during Spring and Summer. She absolutely enjoy going for a walk and gets so excited when she knows it's time for her walk. Thanks for your input, I appreciate that and I will give it a try. Thanks again.
