great information muffie's mom. you would not believe the number of lost animals we had over the last two seasons. not to mention zoo animals getting loose and little dogs and cats could turn into (sorry so gross) a little meal. in our area they are doing something about having more shelters that allow pets. hotels that allow pets are few and far between. many people in the area also volunteered to take pets for those who had to stay in shelters and hotels for extended times.
Also, those with english bull dogs and any other breed with the thick pallet, remember that they will over heat very easily (when the power is out), they can die from this if not monitored carefully.
