Very unfortunate, and not an easy decision, but I would think you owe her at least a visit to the vet to see if there is something wrong. I would hate to see anyone else that might adopt her go through the same problems. Some cats unfortunately will not change, and with a new baby coming, I don’t think you need the frustration. If she urinates on your baby’s things your anger will only get worse, not good for you, and not good for her.
It’s just sad. I am a huge kitty lover, but I completely understand what you are going through……
