[Nikko's_human]

Nikko is almost a year old (his birthday is April 29). He is driving me insane with his marking. i was wondering if I have him neutered will he stop his marking? I haven't done it sooner because I feel sorry for him and I didn't want to put him through that. My vet recommended that I neuter him but I worry about having him put under. Isn't it too late now that he has started marking for him to stop after having him neutered? I don't want to put him through all that for nothing.
