This happened to my Jazzy about two months ago. The vet said to give him a stool softener. I used a generic from Wal Mart. It's main ingredient is docusate sodium 100mg. It worked for him. I would not give him an enema, unless a vet said to and then I probably would want them to do it. Check what he has been eating. I was feeding Jazzy a lamb roll and when I went back to dry, he was fine.
