I told my kids if they ever ditched school I would be right there with them.
My Niece was always out of class, my Brother-in-Law had no idea what to do.
I told him I'd take care of it. Well she didn't want to go to school. I told her School was her job, if she didn't go then her parents would not do their jobs, so cell phones had to go, no money of cabel and so on. The next day I picked her up, took her to the school office, and informed the school I was going to need a desk in all her classes, as I was going to stay. After one day, she wanted to go to school. She never ditched again. I guess lesson was learned.
