Yes, the breeders kennel looked clean but she sure had a lot of dogs. My vet said that most kennels have a problem with coccidia because the adult dogs have it and pass it to the puppies. Then the puppies are hard to keep out of the feces and keep reinfecting themselves. The vet said that most of the adult dogs that survive at the kennel have just built up immunity to it. |
