Just a thought - Elivira had diareah after I got her. Her breeder had her on antibiotics because one of the other pups had coccidea (sp) and I took her to my vet, and he said finish those, I did, still diareah, he put her on some different ones, still had the runs (no blood luckily, but it would have eventually). She was eating good - just watery stools. Back to vet - he said okay, lets try this - NO antibiotics - they m ay be killing the healthy bacteria, and he gave her a mouthful of something (for good bacteria) and some special diet for sensitive tummies (purina prescrption diet) and walla - it got better, and better - in a week she had real poop. I remember calling my neighbor who had been worried about her and saying "We have real poop today!". I know - weird.
May ask him about it???
