His vet thinks that something in the Merrick food just got him upset so he is being put on a temporary bland diet for 3 full days and then gradually add back his food again. In addition, he prescribed an antiobiotic. The mucous with a smear/tint of red is caused by inflamation on his colon because of his diahrea, nothing else.

Since Tiger got a thorough check-up he is being scheduled for tooth extraction in 2 weeks as he showed me a few of his teeth that are loose and if they don't come off in the next couple of weeks needs to be pulled. I also had them administer some preventive medicine for ticks and fleas as I plan to walk tiger in the park soon . . .

I am so happy nothing is wrong with him . . . . thank you so much everyone for being there for me and Tiger!

Oh Des I am so happy that Tiger is ok. I didn't see this thread until just now so I apologize for not being more attentive earlier. I was so worried reading through the threads but now know your little Tiger is ok.
