I noticed with my dad's dogs...when Zeus goes right after him little Oreo will walk to that same spot and urinate right over where he just went in an effort to wipe out that scent....rather funny to see.

I would hope that something can deter them.....at worst I can always try the belly band. Funny how not all dogs do it though. I have heard of females that also mark.
