Try some alternatives crating, take your pup to puppy class to see if you can redirect her chewing. Make sure she has things to chew on. Crate her when your BF wants to spend time with you.

You BF needs to learn that if he loves you, and you love your puppy he needs to compromise. I could never forgive my hubby for making me get rid of one of my yorkies.
