Jack at 6 months has finally got the hang of things. (I hope I am not bragging too soon). When we are at my store, he is behind the counter with me, and has a gate to keep him in, he paws at me when he has to pee so I take him outside and he does his thing. At home he uses a peepad or his wizdog in the laundry room to pee, but still has a problem with pooping in the bathroom, I guess he gets a "whiff".
Have patience, he was absolutley awful until about a month ago. I had to replace a area carpet, but only because I was too lenient with him and he has the run of the house.
