I'm so sorry you got taken!
I live in a relatively small city in northern Ontario, Canada and these scammers even list on a LOCAL pet classified website. People here are getting sick and tired of responding to pets for sale only to find that these people are 'missionaries' or living in Camaroon or Nigeria. It sure is frustrating, but unfortunately shows us that many people on the internet are not what they seem, and if purchasing anything on the internet it pays to be doubley diligent.

I want to add that there ARE ligitimate breeders who advertise on the net...there are thousands worldwide, but it's those like you dealt with that make it difficult for all the rest. Such a shame.
