Later she offered to sell 2 puppies for $500, so of course who would pass this great deal! I sent her the $500 via moneygram (which now I know you NEVER do) and she was to ship early mon. morning. Well mon. she emailed me saying she couldn't ship them until I send $140 to cover crate and additional shots which was supposed to already been included. I have offered to send $140 as soon as I get the puppies but she insists to send it now. I have offered to buy the one puppy for $500, I have offered to pay shipping directly to the airport and I have asked for my money back. Only to have no response yet. I feel really stupid for falling for this so I would like to warn others. If it sounds to good to be true IT IS!!!
Is it normal for scammers to continue to email after getting their money? Is has been almost 1 week and she keeps writing???? Anyway if anyone has any input I would appreciate it. Thanks
Yes a scammer will keep asking for more money, they already got some from you so will try for more.
I always suggest two ways to find a puppy or dog if you want an older yorkie. Try breed clubs, YTCA at www.ytca.org and try local dog shows which you can find out where they are, through the AKC website.

You can also google Yorkies and find website of breeders who show their dogs and are located in your area so you can talk to them, visit them, see the parents and kind of kennel this is. These are not show puppies they will be selling you. They are pets sold for pet under non breeding. Not every litter is all show dogs, what is considered to be not show quality will be fine for pet homes. With anyone reputable you contact, if they don't have anything right at this time, they may be able to refer you to someone who does.
You do have to be patient if you want a good quality puppy from a reputable breeder because we don't have litters always on the go and therefore don't always have puppies available.
