Hobbs jumped off the couch the second day we had him. He never whined or wimpered, he just wouldn't touch him leg to the floor. He would let us touch it, move it, anything...he just wouldn't walk on it. We decided to take him to the emergency room. The vet did an x-ray and found a hairline crack in his leg. The vet said that the reason he didn't cry and that it didn't seem to hurt when we touched or moved it was that dogs don't usually don't show weakness because in a pack, the weakest are left behind, or killed. I thought that was interesting! So, even if she isn't acting like it is hurt, if she isn't walking on it, I would DEFINATELY take her to the vet. You don't want it to get worse and end up having to have surgery or something!! Hobbs just had to wear a splint on it for 3 weeks. Now he is perfectly fine! Would never know he ever hurt it!
