At what age should i start getting my yorkie groomed. He is just over 4 months old right now and of course still has has short hair but i have noticed he is starting to get long hair over his brows where i can barely see his eyes anymore. I do not want to tie it up since he is a boy and that would look girly. I thought about trimming myself but i am scared to do so. I would like to keep him in a puppy cut but I am assuming he needs a kennel cough shot before i can take him to get groomed, right?
Also Alison had mentioned not to cut the hair around their eyes - opps - i already have done that. Is that really that bad to do? The hair was getting in his eyes so i thought it would be best to trim it. Yikes - hope i have not messed him up too much?
