I know what you are going through because sami is doing the same thing! only when it's time for all of us to go to bed(sleeps with us) he will go in a circled start to kind of growl , start scratching the area you think he is preparing to settle down at then out of the blue attack
this is a ritual!
and he bites break the skin bites, It's like when the sun goes down a little werewolf emerges because he is priming himself right before he attacks LOL. I know it is kind of like his last effort to play & maybe he feels the harder he bites(without knowing he is hurting you) is his way of saying Im not ready for bed? I still have want your attention
when I say ouch & really really did mean it he jumps up in my face and starts to kiss me
then he settles down.
