 my two cents
I lived in Korea for about a year 3 years ago. I had a couple of American friends there who tried dog at a restaraunt and they were fine with it. They preferred not to think of the cruel conditions the dogs were kept in before being slaughtered or how some of them are beaten to death and skinned. I made friends with Koreans while I was there and I know the preparation methods to be fact. Although I respect other peoples culture, to me it's really disgusting and sad. I personally think eating any dead animals is disgusting (I'm a vegetarian), but obviously I can't make everyone feel the same way. I think the answer is to make sure cruelty laws are in place and abided by.
I really hope that anyone who knowingly harms any animals pays for it dearly after they leave this earth. |
