I don’t think it’s a culture, dog meat is only a bad habit from the old days which has to stop. You talk about horse’s meat. I think horse meat, whale meat and dog meat all should stop. We don’t have to compete among each other which food is the most horrible. The point is whether Korea or USA or France, if it’s a horrible eating then we should stop eating.
If you see the poor dogs eyes waiting for death, you can’t say it’s a delicacy. It’s only animal cruelty. |
I did see the dogs - I walked up to them and started to pet them when I realized that I was standing at a dog butcher shop. I seriously almost fainted as I looked up and saw the dog meat hanging. It is a shame for this to happen but I still don't think we can condemn another culture's ways- We eat beef and turkey and chicken - who is looking them in the eye when they are slaughtered. I understand your wanting to get this noticed and hopefully things will change but you have to do it with love and kindness.
